Pwd

Displays present working directory

Ls

Used to show list of contents in present working directory

Mkdir

used to create new directory

Rmdir

used to remove specified directory

used to clear terminal screen

used to change directory

Used to search for a particular string/ word in a text file

Used to read modify or concatenate text files

Used to sort results of search either alphabetically or numerically

Used to sort results of search either alphabetically or numerically

Used to give remote access to the master

Sudo

Executes only commands with root/super user privileges

Su

Executes only commands with root/super user privileges

used to switch to root users
